The Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show

The Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show (Trentham Easter Art And Craft Show Incorporated) is a not for profit organisation. It is managed by a committee of volunteers.

Each year the committee stages the Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show which now is regarded as one of the state’s top regional exhibitions of its type.

The show is open to amateur and professional artists from the local area and wider afield.

The key objective of the show is to support participation in the arts. As such, the committee strives to keep costs for entrants and visitors to a minimum, as follows:

  • The entry fee per exhibit is $10/free of charge for under 18 year olds
  • The commission on sold works is 20% (no commission is deducted from the sale of junior works)
  • Entrance to the show is $2 /free of charge for entrants and under 18 year olds.

Proceeds from the show are used to support local art-related activities. Money from the 2017 show was used to fund the purchase of two bench seats at the new Inter-stellae art installation at the Stoney Creek Reserve in Trentham,  an Art Grant for the Trentham Kindergarten, new administration systems for the Art Show committee, and the ‘Only A Jockey’ installation which was held at the old Trentham racecourse over Easter 2018 (read more about this on the News page).
