The Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show
The Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show
The Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show (Trentham Easter Art And Craft Show Incorporated) is a not for profit organisation. It is managed by a committee of volunteers.
Each year the committee stages the Trentham Easter Art & Craft Show which now is regarded as one of the state’s top regional exhibitions of its type.
The show is open to amateur and professional artists from the local area and wider afield.
The key objective of the show is to support participation in the arts. As such, the committee strives to keep costs for entrants and visitors to a minimum, as follows:
Proceeds from the show are used to support local art-related activities. Money from the 2018 show helped fund the following community events in the Trentham region: Blackwood CERT garage fundraiser; the forthcoming Dancing A Jig With Dad art installation (in memory of local sculptor Matthew Harding); Dr Gweneth Wisewould 80 year anniversary exhibition; Trentham & Districts Primary School choir participation in the Mission Songs Project Concert at Melbourne Town Hall; Trentham Kindergarten visit to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra; Only A Jockey art installation (held in the Old Trentham Racecourse last Easter).
